OVERVIEW
Built by The Chrome Collective for 90s Honda chassis (Civic, CRX, Del Sol, EG/EK and similar) converted to AWD using the Honda Wagovan rear differential, this kit delivers a precise rear wheel speed signal to your standalone ECU for traction control, launch control, and data logging.
The kit centers around a zinc-plated reluctor (tone) ring that presses directly onto the Wagovan differential's output stub, paired with a threaded Hall effect sensor positioned in a custom-designed bracket. The bracket bolts directly to the existing Wagovan diff housing bolts — no drilling or welding needed — and holds the sensor at the correct air gap from the tone ring teeth for a clean, consistent signal across the full RPM range.
What's Included:
- Press-fit zinc-plated tone ring, sized for the Honda Wagovan rear differential output stub
- Threaded Hall effect speed sensor with pigtail harness
- Custom mounting bracket (bolts to existing Wagovan diff housing fasteners)
- Mounting hardware (nuts, jam nuts, washers)
Key Features:
- Direct bolt-on bracket — uses existing Wagovan diff housing bolt holes
- Press-fit tone ring, no machining required for install
- Threaded sensor body allows fine air-gap adjustment via jam nuts
- Compatible with standalone ECU digital wheel speed inputs (Haltech, AEM, Hondata, etc.)
Compatibility:
Designed specifically for 90s Honda chassis converted to AWD using a Honda Wagovan rear differential. Tone ring presses onto the Wagovan diff output stub; bracket mounts to the stock Wagovan diff housing bolt pattern. Confirm your differential is the Wagovan unit before ordering — message us with photos if unsure. We also have a kit for the Crv Diff
Wiring Note:
Connect the sensor output to your ECU's digital wheel speed input (DI), not a DPI/analog input, for proper signal reading.
